Management and Support — Cabinet Nova Conseil

Cabinet Nova Conseil supports organizations throughout the Democratic Republic of the Congo with management structuring, performance steering and practical capacity building. The service is designed for SMEs, mining, commercial, industrial and service companies, institutions, NGOs, entrepreneurs, professionals, students and researchers. Our approach starts from your operating reality—available resources, tool maturity, geographic footprint and sector constraints—to turn useful information into better-prepared decisions, without guaranteed-outcome claims and without replacing personalized legal, tax or financial advice.

LOCAL CONTEXT

An engagement designed for DRC realities.

The offer is grounded in the Congolese context without extrapolating statistics. The Ministry of National Economy highlights services related to business creation, operator registration, formalization and statistical tools: https://economie.gouv.cd/. ANAPI describes the Business Creation One-Stop Shop (GUCE), several business forms and commonly required documents: https://anapi.cd/procedures. The World Bank notes the DRC’s natural-resource base, including copper and cobalt, while also pointing to development, infrastructure and stability challenges: https://www.banquemondiale.org/ext/fr/country/drc. EITI-RDC publishes information on revenues, production and exports in mining, hydrocarbons and forestry: https://www.itierdc.net/. These references provide context for an engagement; they do not replace verification of the rules applicable to a specific case or personalized legal, tax or financial advice.

01

Clarifying management and formalizing priorities

Nova Conseil starts with a focused diagnostic of responsibilities, processes, available records, data quality, decision calendars and bottlenecks. We make operations easier to manage through clear objectives, roles, simple procedures, approval paths, tracking registers and a prioritized action plan. For a new activity or a transition toward the formal economy, the engagement may include an administrative and organizational roadmap coordinated with the relevant official offices. It is not legal advice and does not replace official filings or approvals.

02

Data-informed steering with proportionate tools

We design dashboards suited to the organization’s maturity: activity, sales, costs, management cash monitoring, inventory, lead times, projects, human resources or service quality. The aim is to improve data collection, record assumptions, distinguish facts from estimates and establish a regular review rhythm. Tools can be built from existing files and operate with modest resources before a larger digital transformation. Indicators inform decisions; they do not predict the future or guarantee profitability or access to finance.

03

Supporting Congolese sector realities

For extractive industries, the work may focus on operations, suppliers, service contracts, volumes, costs, operational risks and document traceability, consistently with internal requirements and publicly available information. For non-extractive sectors—trade, manufacturing, services, agriculture, logistics, health, education and the social economy—we adapt tools to procurement cycles, infrastructure continuity, power availability and distribution constraints. Each engagement is defined around the client’s authorized scope and the capabilities of relevant stakeholders.

04

Building capabilities and a regular review discipline

Support combines practical workshops, reusable templates, coaching for managers and review meetings. Teams learn how to define an indicator, verify a source, explain a variance and decide on corrective action. For entrepreneurs, professionals, students and researchers, Nova Conseil may also help structure a project, data-collection protocol, briefing note or monitoring framework, subject to integrity requirements and the agreed scope. Knowledge transfer is documented to reduce dependence on an external provider.

05

A prudent approach to foreign exchange, inflation and infrastructure

Where relevant, analyses separate amounts in foreign currency and Congolese francs, record the date and source of assumptions, and test several operating scenarios rather than relying on a single forecast. We highlight possible effects of exchange-rate movements, prices, procurement lead times, power, roads and connectivity. These are management and internal-planning tools, not investment, lending, securities or foreign-exchange-hedging recommendations. Sensitive decisions remain the client’s responsibility and should involve appropriately qualified advisers.
